As new academic terms begin, many of the week’s events focus on welcoming new university students, with several student-focused club nights and themed parties planned. Beyond the student events, you can explore a broad range of live music. The city’s stages will host various sounds, including rock and punk bands, tribute acts, and immersive electronic music events covering techno, jungle, and drum and bass. Expect soul and reggae nights to add to the musical variety. If you’re interested in cultural performances, there's a local comedic musical group collaborating with the city's philharmonic orchestra.
